The United Black Fund (UBF) will celebrate its 44th anniversary at its Annual Calvin and Wilhelmina Rolark Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday, June 8, 2013, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Howard University Blackburn Center.
The Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC) will receive the award for Community Service Organization of the Year. In addition, UBF will honor City Councilmember Marion Barry and Reverend Dr. Gwendolyn Boyd, Staff Director at Johns Hopkins Applied Research Institute and former National President of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
